Overview

Cough Kids is a specially formulated throat spray designed to alleviate cough in children. This product, presented in a convenient 20 ml bottle, employs a filmogen liquid bandage technology that targets pro-inflammatory proteins, contaminants, and impurities, providing relief and promoting healing.

How It Works

Protective Barrier Effect : The spray creates a protective barrier on the throat’s surface, safeguarding the sensitive tissues from further irritation or damage. This barrier also traps and neutralizes pro-inflammatory proteins and other harmful contaminants that can exacerbate the cough.

Osmotic and Cleaning Effect : Cough Kids exhibits an osmotic action that helps extract and eliminate impurities from the throat tissues. This cleaning effect aids in reducing inflammation and fostering a healthier environment for healing.

Cellular Repair and Growth Effect :The product supports the repair and growth of cells in the throat. By fostering a healthier cellular environment, Cough Kids aids in the faster recovery of the throat tissues, thereby helping to alleviate the cough more quickly.

A Safe and Effective Solution

Cough Kids is a safe and effective solution for managing cough in children. Its unique action not only helps to relieve the symptoms but also supports the natural healing processes of the body, making it an excellent choice for parents seeking a comprehensive approach to their child’s cough treatment.

Clinical Trial Results

The study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new non-medicated cough treatment for children. This treatment involves a topical polymeric film that cleans the throat surface and fluidizes mucus. The study compared the efficacy of this treatment to a saline solution.

Main results

After 3 days of treatment, the group treated with the topical polymeric film COUGHKIDS (TP group) experienced a 45.79% reduction in cough frequency, compared to the baseline.

By day 6, the reduction in cough frequency in the TP group increased to 89.71%, and by day 15, it reached 98.13%.

Sleep disturbances due to night coughing were significantly reduced in the TP group, with a 55.56% reduction observed by day 3, 75.76% by day 6, and 97.98% by day 15.

Throat irritation was also significantly reduced in the TP group, with a 66% reduction observed by day 3, 88% by day 6, and 98% by day 15.

The Quality of Life (QOL) score improved significantly in the TP group after 14 days of treatment, reaching a mean score of 41.60/70, compared to 23.30/70 in the control group (CP group).

These results suggest that the topical polymeric treatment was significantly more effective than the saline solution in reducing cough frequency, cough-induced sleep disturbance, and throat irritation, and in improving the quality of life.

In conclusion, COUGHKIDS has shown promising results in clinical trials. The treatment was found to significantly suppress cough symptoms within just three days of application, reducing the need for antibiotics.

This is particularly noteworthy given the growing concern about antibiotic resistance and the side effects of chemical cough treatments. The fact that no adverse effects were reported during the trial further underscores the safety of this treatment.

Overall, this innovative approach to treating cough in children could potentially offer a safe, effective, and non-chemical alternative to traditional cough treatments, providing a new option for parents and healthcare providers in managing this common childhood ailment.
